“We've had the pleasure to work with Devon Black on an E-Learning project recently in collaboration with InWhatLanguage. The project was challenging with a very tight schedule but Devon made it a very smooth, positive experience! Not only did he deliver the recordings quickly, but the quality of the recordings was great! He brings positivity to everything he works on and his communications are always quick and timely. We will definitely be working with him again in the near future and highly recommend you do, too.”

Canadian

You may have noticed subtle traces of my Canadian accent in my demos. If so, good on ya! Born, raised, and still living in small town Canada, one of my biggest inspirations and comforts growing up was public access TV - back when you needed to adjust the make-shift coat hanger antenna to get a picture that wasn't static.Public broadcast stations like CBC and TVO back in the 90s and early 2000s help shape a large part of who I am. A vast number of shows were collaborations between American and Canadian productions, some were imported over from the UK, and some were wholly Canadian. No matter where they came from however, they always taught meaningful life lessons and were a beacon of optimism even in the most difficult of time. One my dreams as an actor is to be apart of something like that.

Audio Wizard

In addition to graduating from college in audio engineering, I've also been working behind the scenes in community radio for over decade, am the one my friends turn to for help solving audio issues, and have recently starting dabbling in sound design for video games- the first of which can be found here. Chances are I'll get along well with your engineer or at the very least be able to sub in no problem if you don't have access to one.

Collection of various pins

Collector

Outside of my booth hangs my collections of pins. It's not something I intentionally made a habit of collecting, it just sorta happened over time. Some were brought by me but most I'm pretty sure were given to me. I cherish them all dearly.

The thing I'm most infamous for collecting is different tarot decks. I love find ones with unique art and doing readings with them. I would show you all my decks but at this point I have too many to show here with more on the way (whoops) so instead, feel free to fill out the form to the right and get a free one card reading from me as a thanks for reading this far into my about section.

CAT PICS!

Speaking of rewarding you for reading this far, these are my cats Cody and Jasper. They are both brother and are the sweetest cats I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Cody - the solid orange one- will follow me anywhere except outside and Jasper - the orange and white one- has no teeth as it turns out he was allergic to them (poor thing). I'll only share with you a few pictures. If you want to see more of them, you'll have to hire me... muhahahahaa.
